Farm to School Summer Curriculum Coordinator - (Nantucket, MA)

Job overview : Under the direction of the Farm to School Coordinator, plan, implement, and oversee the Farm to School Summer Camp, Children's Farm to Fork Cooking Classes, and Bridge Back to School Program. Work in partnership with the Farm to School Garden Coordinator to instruct all Farm to School programs. Teach and oversee the Farm to School High-school Apprentice in instructing Farm to School activities. Uphold the mission of Sustainable Nantucket and the goals of the Farm to School Program. Responsibilities : June: - June fifth– 30th Preparation & Training Introduction to Sustainable Nantucket, partnering farms and organizations Review of summer program and all curricula and lessons with F2S Coordinator to make any adjustments needed Prepare all lesson materials, Purchase and organize supplies Train and include F2S Summer High-school Apprentice in preparation activities Summer: July 1st – September 1st Summer Program: Responsible for overall camp operations
