Strategist-Insurance and Risk Management - (Great Neck, NY)

Position description Serves as primary contact in the management of the Health System's Property and Casualty insurance programs. Serves as back up to Director. Works with leadership to manage daily insurance operations including, but not limited to the: Preparation of insurance applications, Renewal process, Maintenance of expirations, Review and analysis of insurance policies, endorsements and/or audits, Review and process of invoices, Review and analyze insurance provisions of contracts, as needed, Maintenance, review and analysis of loss runs, Review of reinsurance agreements, as needed, Identification of opportunities for loss control/risk management, Assists in insurance placement, Investigates new insurance products and identifies gaps in current coverage. Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations. Ensures operating compliance with government and agency regulations. Oversees the maintenance, integrity and management of records and details.
