Job DescriptionThe Cardiovascular Therapy Department at Sentara RMH Medical Center is seeking a full-time Exercise Physiologist. QUALIFICATIONS *Bachelor's Degree - Exercise Science *EKG monitoring/Telemetry - Previous Background *BLS certification. Must achieve ACLS certification within 1yr of employment.Assists in coordinating and implementing all phases of education and exercise therapy programs for the rehabilitation of persons with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. Assists in collection of data to complete the initial patient assessment, the development of an exercise plan and a plan for education about life-style modification for Phase I and II cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients.
