Research Technician Moscow, Idaho ProGene Plant Research, dry pea breeding program is hiring a research technician in Moscow, Idaho. Under general supervision, this individual will assist the program plant breeder with day to day operations of greenhouse maintenance, field and plot maintenance, trial preparation, planting, and harvest. ProGene Plant Research is an innovative agriculture research plant breeding company. We at ProGene feel that our purpose of doing business is to bring value through genetics to everyone that we work with including farmers, seedsmen, processors, and livestock feeders. Tasks related to this position include: Greenhouse preparation, plot preparation to include, planting, harvest, pesticide application, perform disease screening, crossings and harvest Also performs germinations, data entry and other research projects as time allows. Requirements: High degree of attention to detail, management expertise, good driving history, expertise to lift 40 lbs.
