System Administrator, Syracuse, NY Our client in Syracuse is looking to add a Systems Administrator on a full-time basis, they are ready to hire TODAY! Critical responsibilities/Accountabilities • Designs, plans, installs, upgrades, maintains, and troubleshoots all hardware including servers, PCs, switches, modems, firewalls, backup devices, cabling, printers and related peripherals used in a distributed computing environment. • Maintains all software and operating system functions on UNIX based servers as well as Windows servers and PCs on the local area network and web platform. • Maintains, monitors, organizes, and enhances network management system. Installs new system software and upgrades to existing software and applications. • Documents all network hardware, system software and application software. Prepares, maintains and updates documentation utilizing flowcharts, data dictionaries and detailed descriptions of system and application software.
