Production Manager - (Columbus Grove, OH)

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Weld Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the Stamping Production operations at PPI, ultimately ensuring the timeliness and efficiency of production with respect to customer specifications. The Weld Production Managers direct reports include weld area managers, supporting a three shift operating pattern. The production manager is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are attained. In addition, the Weld Production manager is responsible for ensuring scheduling compliance, employee development, successful launch of new dies/equipment, and the overall organization and cleanliness of the department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide leadership, direction, and follow-up with the Production, Maintenance, Tool & Die, Plant Engineering, and Material departments. Ensure all safety qualifications and training are adhered to at all times Ensure all quality systems are followed without exception
