Development & Volunteer Coordinator The Salvation Army is hiring a Development & Volunteer Coordinator to oversee the volunteer program and support the Development Department in day to day operations. Duties: Develops and implements an effective volunteer program including recruiting, training and supervising volunteers Seeks opportunities to promote The Salvation Army and its programs to the community Recruits, trains, coordinates and monitors the work of volunteers ensuring ample staff to meet program needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same Creates content for and manages all aspects of the area commands social media platforms Manages some aspects of donor cultivation and communication in conjunction with the development director Assists the development department with special events and community relations
