QC Technician, Analytical Chemist - (Dixon, IL)

JOB SUMMARY: Provide key analysis for multiple analytical projects. Understands analytical methods using Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrophotometry, Ultra High Pressure and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography for research and development and quality department goals. Must ensure the highest level of commitment to Safe Quality Food (SQF) in order to provide assurance that all products have been produced, prepared and handled according to the highest possible standards to include all quality/regulatory qualifications but not limited to SQF, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, Organic and Kosher. MAJOR DUTIES : Responsible for analysis using modern analytical instrumentation such as GC/MS, LC/MS, HPLC, FT-IR in accordance with accepted laboratory procedures. Media & sample preparation and data analysis. Work under the guidance of the Senior Quality Control Technician. Immediately notify the Quality Management Team of any deviations from acceptable standards and start the investigation of the issue.
