Thoroughly tests software manually to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects Utilize necessary issue solving abilities to develop and maintain knowledge of in-house / vendor systems, formulas, rate specifications, manual rules, and state filing details in order to identify unusual, inconsistent or error conditions Perform testing of revisions and new state programs, including cosmetic evaluation of rating products and display of data on printed forms by targeted completion dates Develops test plans and test cases based on decomposed qualifications Creates test data per specifications Executes test runs and validates actual results against expected results Documents all problems and works to resolve them; reports progress to management Regular, predictable attendance required Work is subject to strict quality standards and deadlines Working hours may vary outside of core based on business needs, projects
