Technical Publications Writer - (Superior, WI)

Position overview: Seeking an individual with high competency levels in decision making. Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including Operation, Service and Parts manuals. This individual leverages technology and possesses the expertise to maintain professional levels of contact with customers, suppliers and intercompany personnel. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Manual Development Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Utilize engineering Bills of Materials for the creation of parts manuals. Gathering external content from manufacturers. Assembling and organizing content. Populating content in PageMaker and on-line systems (web) ensuring content is current. Work with external translators. Manual Administration Update manuals as required. Archive manuals. Maintain records and files of work and revisions. Manual Printing
