Principal Investigator / Research Scientist - (Harrisburg, PA)

Responsibilities for this Position: The Research Scientist will be an important thought leader within this organization, located at the GDMS facility in Pittsburgh, PA ? providing technical leadership in expanding GDMS's current Research programs, expanding GDMS's base of IP that can be leveraged across multiple projects, building new capabilities through internal Research & Development (IR& D) programs, and developing and pursuing new business opportunities. Recent experience working with government research customers ? particularly DARPA, DoD labs, Intelligence Community, and DHS S& T activities ? is highly desirable. The Research Scientist will coordinate on R& D roadmaps for the short, medium, and longterm. This position will help grow the demand for solutions within the US Government, either directly from the sponsoring US Government agency or through partnership with another company or laboratory. This may later expand to non-US Government sponsors.
