Payroll Supervisor - (Johnson City, TN)

The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for performing all aspects of the payroll function ensuring timely, accurate and effective processing of payroll disbursements for all employees in compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and qualifications, as well as, internal policies and procedures. The Payroll Supervisor reports directly to the Corporate Shared Services Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensure proper payment of employees in a multi-state environment on a bi-weekly basis. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as companys payroll and benefit policies and procedures Partner with Human Resources and Treasury department to ensure positive collaboration efforts to provide efficient company-wide payroll operations Oversee the preparation and taxation of off-cycle payrolls and special payroll runs in the ADP system Expertise and foresight to recognize and respond to situations that require complete confidentiality Interface with internal and external individuals
