OpenText Administrator - (Sugar Land, TX)

This position has the responsibility of reviewing, planning and evaluating systems and custom deployments to the organization's production infrastructure. This position has the added responsibility of being a subject matter expert in multiple platforms/systems that are administered. The job necessitates detailed technical knowledge of specific systems and network elements and ability to troubleshoot those elements completely, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If needed, recommend and/or design new solutions to faulty or outdated components within the given production elements The position will develop and document best practices and procedures to support the systems deployed, effectively communicate qualifications to technical and non-technical staff as well as contractors and need to be capable of overseeing and coordinating the activities of technical resources on a project.
