2nd shift Painter - (Randolph, WI)

POSITION OVERVIEW: This position receives parts from the supplier, both internally and externally, ensuring a quality finish coating of paint through accurate surface and paint preparation. The position also performs the work order kitting and sequencing operations, insuring efficient delivery of product to final assembly. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Insurance that assemblies (manufactured parts) are complete prior to staging at paint. Parts that are not would require expediting coordination with fabrication or purchasing. 2. Picking of parts by project from the final stage of fabrication. This would include parts for projects, warranty or replacement parts order. This process will be driven off of our finite scheduling and capacity planning system. 3. Participation in the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and support the ongoing philosophy of Just-In-Time (JIT) in our manufacturing inventory levels.
