Analytical Chemist - (Battle Creek, MI)

Objective: We are currently seeking a applicant for an Analytical Chemist opportunity in a food and scientific industry. This individual will be responsible for running Assay tests on deli food to determine the exact contents per serving. 90% of the job will be running Assays and the other 10% of the time will be spent where the applicant can help out Required skills: Applicant must have a min of 2 yrs prior background working in a lab environment Applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, chemistry, biology , or a related position Min of 3 yrs background in GC (Gas Chromatography) 2yrs background troubleshooting lab equipment Additional Background: Background working in an FDA regulated environment Background with food testing The hours for this position are first shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (2 openings) Expect to work six - 7 days a week currently based on the project and current workload. This position is a contract and is expected to last 2-3 mnths with competitive pay.
