Benefits Specialist, FT Days - (Batavia, NY)

Remedy Staffing is currently supporting a direct-placement search for an experienced Benefits Specialist to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Our client company is a manufacturer that has been in business for more than 50yrs and currently employs about 400 people. The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and regulatory compliance of Group benefit plans, including but not limited to; Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, Life, Disability, Workers Comp, 401(k), employee Perks and Time-Off benefits. Responsibilities: Ensures administration of all Health and Welfare benefit programs within applicable regulations: ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, etc. Responsible for administration of Health and Welfare (H&W) benefits including managing enrollments, changes and terminations, employee and administration problem resolution, and payment of carrier premiums. Works with H&W Broker to implement plan changes.
