Springfield College 1885Spirit Mind Body Adjunct ProfessorEducation Department Springfield College is currently accepting applications for an adjunct professor to teach the Massachusetts state mandated Sheltered English Immersion (SEI/RETELL) course. Required: MA, CAGS, or higher degree in any of the following or closely related fields: English as a 2nd Language (ESOL), Language, Literacy and Culture. Two Years background teaching ESL and/or Bi-lingual education in K-12 setting or equivalent. Preferred: Fluency in a language other than English or background studying another language or living abroad; knowledge of the WIDA standards; knowledge of the MA ELA Curriculum Framework that includes the Common Core. Evidence of strong teaching skills and background delivering hybrid or on-line courses.
