County of Cameron Employment Opportunity LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (CSHCN-MH/PDICN) Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Must have a master's Degree in Counseling from an accredited college or university. Min of 1 (1) year background in working in mental health setting conducting group or individual therapeutic sessions preferred. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License, and comply with the State of Texas Driving history. Must have reliable transportation. Employees of Cameron County may be required to work during any natural disaster or emergency. Under the supervision of Mental health Supervisor or designee. Provides professional counseling services in the CSHCN-MH & PDICN Navigation Care Program by assisting CSHCN-MH clients and postpartum women and their families in behavioral change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual group and family therapy.
