Responsible for day to day operations of the busy Emergency Department with 55k+ ED visits a year. The Nurse Manager applies advanced knowledge of nursing and management system in patient care, personnel department, financial and unit operations, performance improvement, and program development. Facilitates continued the education of teammates with current research literature. The Nurse Manager Emergency manages the daily operations of the nursing units including team player management, environmental monitoring, performance improvement and risk management. Maintains positive customer relations as well as ensures the areas supervised provide excellent customer service. Reports to a dynamic tenure Director.
