Planning and directing the work of the Assembly Technicians to reduce equipment downtime, improve processes, and increase productivity; ? Preparing work schedules for the technicians; ? Creating and maintaining plant budget for assembly departments; ? Creating Capital Budget requests for assembly department improvements; ? Assisting in maintaining plant KPIs for scrap, efficiency, and demonstrated capacity; ? Evaluating equipment downtime with technician, determining and implementing countermeasures, and verifying their effectiveness. Education: 2-year or 4-year degree required; Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related disciplines preferred. Required skills: ? 4+ years of background in a manufacturing environment with 1 or more years of background in a supervisory or lead role; ? Background in an automotive industry manufacturing environment preferred; ? Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude;
