Position title: Staff Civil Detailer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12+ Months This position is responsible for providing a full range of pipeline drawing production work including problem analysis and design layout. Work in close collaboration with project managers, project engineers and pipeline engineers to develop drawing set. At the commencement of each project, plan and schedule design tasks associated with assigned project. Set drafting procedures and standards for each project. Comply with client drawing standards and accepted industry practices. Provide technical guidance and assistance to other design and drafting personnel and verify quality and accuracy of work across all discipline groups within the project. Conducts field investigations, produces clear field reports with detailed sketches, images, written and verbal instructions.
