Supervises a team performing production function(s).Responsibilities may include supervising daily operations, developing and analyzing reports, making operational changes, and ensuring production targets and metrics are met for the function(s).The Production Supervisor I is distinguished from the Production Supervisor II by typically overseeing a single or less complex product line(s), supervising a small team of employees, and receiving greater direction from plant management on complex issues.Note: While the position may perform some operational duties similar to its subordinates, this is not a working supervisor role.In some cases this may be a less experienced supervisor that supervises the scope of operations that is similar to a Production Supervisor II, however they apply a lesser degree of supervision based on greater direction and involvement from management.
