Job DescriptionBuyer –Contract PositionEssential Duties:Responsible for negotiating and contracting with suppliers in specific categoriesWorking with manufacturing. plants, identify and execute cost saving programsAssure that all facilities are ISO compliantMonitor and provide support to assure that all facilities use the OC national agreementsManage relationships with assigned suppliersProvide resolution for quality issuesProvide support to resolve invoicing issuesPerform quotations for existing/new materials, and assure that best price is attainedWork on cross functional teams to identify materials as needed by EngineeringPartner with internal departments on needs and requirementsPrepare presentations for managementAdhere to all Corporate and Sourcing policiesAttend meetings as required.Travel- 25% Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree3+ years of experienceAble to interact with professionalism with all levels of employees, management
