CLEVELAND UTILITIES G.I.S. TECHNICIAN REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Assist Water and Wastewater GIS Administrator as directed Assist in updating the Water and Wastewater utility GIS layers Assist in the maintenance of Geo, SQL, and Access databases Transfer data from aerial images, as-built drawings, legal descriptions, easements, survey drawings, GPS data, scans, and sketches from crewman into GIS system Assist in providing mapping support to end users as directed Assist in performing extraction of spatial and non-spatial data GPS location and collection of water and wastewater utility features Generate CAD drawings for proposed water and wastewater utilities Large format scanning of documents and drawings in preparation for GIS system and archival purposes Follow all safety rules and regulations when performing work duties remembering safety is 1st and will not be disregarded for speed or ease.
