Temporary Cashier/Inventory Clerk at UNC Chapel Hill - (Chapel Hill, NC)
Essential Position qualifications Background with using Point of Sale ( POS ) software on computer to process sales and/or cashier background is preferred, if applicant does not possess POS background, must have the expertise to learn software required; Handling cash, credit, checks (includes use of credit card machine) for sales and reconciliation; Expertise to become familiar with stock and being able to talk about their features with customers; Assisting with inventory check-in and merchandise display; General housekeeping (dusting shelves, sweeping floors, etc.); Using great customer service skills to provide welcoming environment for all; Have a positive, friendly personality in order to work with staff and customers; Expertise to execute other operations and policies, as needed.
