Senior Research Support Specialist The Gobler Laboratory of Stony Brook University's School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences is seeking a Bivalve Restoration Specialist to work as part of the Shinnecock Bay Restoration Program (shinnecockbay.org). Competitive candidates will have extensive background rearing, conditioning, and spawning bivalves indigenous to Long Island, rearing of early-life stage marine shellfish, managing shellfish licenses, and managing large data sets. Successful candidates will also have a strong record of outreach, communication, and public speaking, as well as working as part of interdisciplinary teams of researchers. Leadership skills are valued. Work will be primarily at the Stony Brook – Southampton campus.
