IT Vendor Management Architect - (Akron, OH)

Goodyear. More Driven. About the Position This position will be a member of the IT Vendor Management Team, reporting to the Manager of IT Vendor Management. The IT Vendor architect position contributes to & drives continuous improvement within IT by the implementation of Vendor management disciplines & processes. Works with Procurement, Finance & Functional teams to optimize IT sourcing decisions & outcomes. Main responsibilities * Partners with cross functional IT teams to identify, negotiate and select IT suppliers * Assist IT subject matter experts & Procurement with vendor evaluation & selection criteria, procedures & best practice tools & templates. * Analyze business/technical needs & assists in the preparation & review of RFPs, contracts & SLAs * Implements appropriate vendor governance to effectively manage 3rd parties, participates in vendor relationship governance meetings & coordinates executive level governance review meetings.
