Technical Assistant/Project Engineer - (Hardeeville, SC)

BHI is currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant/Project Engineer . The Technical Assistant will provide engineering support in a designated company area, or specific engineering discipline. Performs engineering calculations, analysis, research and design. Assignments include tracking equipment procurement, tracking construction progress & commodities, assisting with preparing weekly management reports. Under direction of supervisor or work leader, performs routine assignments designed to develop professional engineering work knowledge, gain familiarity with techniques, approaches, practices and the nature of engineering systems, equipment, etc. and to develop the expertise to apply fundamental engineering principles and techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out sequence of related engineering tasks. Expertise to exercise good judgment as required on info of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
