Senior Fund Analyst (Client Position) - (Southfield, MI)

The successful fast paced individual will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, great character and integrity, a strong work ethic and good communication expertise. This position is ideal for an individual who has a strong desire to learn the real estate industry and bring their career to the next level. Primary Duties: • Maintain the general ledger of the assigned entities (Recording of expenses, cash activity, etc.). • Record expenses related to asset management, acquisition, disposition, and other charges monthly, quarterly, and annually in accordance with the respective agreements. • Preparation of workpapers supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. • Maintenance of investor schedules and preparation of individual investor distribution statements. • Coordinate with external accounting firm in preparation of annual tax returns. • Ensure proper internal controls and compliance. Skills/Requirements: • BS in Accounting or equivalent degree; CPA preferred
