68X Mental Health Specialist - (Cottage Grove, MN)
Army National Guard Soldiers are under all the stress of everyday citizens, plus bear the additional weight of military service and combat-oriented situations. This stress can understandably wear on the mental well-being of a Soldier. The Mental Health Specialist assists the Guard's health care team with the management and treatment of inpatient and outpatient mental health care. Under the supervision of an Army psychiatrist, social worker, psychiatric nurse, or psychologist, you will assist with the care and treatment of patients with psychiatric, drug, and alcohol problems; collect and record patient data; counsel and treat patients with personal, behavioral, or mental health problems; and provide bedside care in hospitals.
