Under the direction of certified staff, the instructional paraprofessional assists with overall management and supervision of students, crisis intervention including hands-on intervention and conflict resolution, implementation of the instructional program, implementation of behavioral intervention plans, substitutes for absent staff (if New Jersey Department of Education endorsed), assists with the planning and implementation of extra-curricular activities and with the collection of data related to student progress. Incorporates the organization's Mission, Values, and Service Standard Behavior guidelines in the fulfillment of all duties and responsibilities. 8:00-15:30 Monday-Friday Bachelor degree or equivalent in education, social work, psychology or related position and 6 (6) months background working with children in a group setting required or Associate's degree from an accredited college/university in education, social work
