Benefits-Payroll Assistant - (Clearwater, FL)

Position Concept: This position will collaberatively work with a small team; specifically benefits and payroll and provide support to 1,000 employees in a professional working atmosphere. Required functions: * Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. * Assists with benefits enrollment for new employees. * Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, creates invoices for payments and communicating benefit info to employees. * Conducts audits of various payroll and benefits programs. * Assist Payroll Specialist in the preparation of payroll, entering hours, deductions. Job responsibilities Education - High-school diploma. Experience - 2 yrs' experience in payroll and benefits required. Skills - Experience with customer service and multi-task office setting. Detail oriented, good verbal and written correspondence abilities. Expertise to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
