Warehouse and Shipping Manager - (Arvin, CA)

SUMMARY We are seeking candidates for Warehouse and Shipping Manager. The key responsibilities for this position are directing, managing and coordinate logistics, warehouse and transportation activities for our state of the art produce warehouse as well as lead and direct strategic planning for the logistics and warehouse department. Critical functions and Responsibilities Overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce aging material Develop and establish strong controls and processes to ensure consistent and accurate perpetual inventory systems in a multiple storage unit environment Develop and maintain transportation systems for freight that ensures business needs are met.
