Director of Quality Assurance Position summary We are looking for the following requirements– a person with excellent management and leadership skills preferably with an engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, aerospace, electrical) and at least 5yrs’ experience, the expertise to be get a government security clearance quickly, and a experience and direct working relationships with DoD/DCMA/Customer and quality systems including ISO Standards system ISO 9001:2008/2015 or AS9100 is required. The individual will have the responsibility for planning and directing quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives. Directs in-process and product testing activities. A bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience is preferred with a familiarity of Aerospace and Defense practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others as well as employing a hands-on approach with time on the shop floor.
