WXIA-TV, a TEGNA owned company, and the NBC affiliate in Atlanta, GA, has an immediate opening for Part-time experienced, energetic Editor . Applicant must possess outstanding communication and management skills; must work well under pressure, within a team environment and have the expertise to think outside-the-box when it comes to editing. RESPONSIBILITIES Edits news and feature stories, voiceovers, teases, and other video elements for live shows and pre-taped specials as needed. Gather professional video and audio when necessary. Performs other duties in audio and video production as assigned. Tune and take live feeds and organize them for quick access. Here's what you need: College diploma with at least two years of experience desired Expertise to work under time pressure deadlines; expertise to multitask and prioritize multiple needs simultaneously Expertise to determine good audio and picture quality; expertise to edit with continuity and creativity on non-linear systems.
