Mechanical Engineer / Machine Designer - (Dover, NJ)

Mechanical Engineer / Machine Designer Specialty equipment/machinery manufacturer is in need of a Machine Designer for the design of their complex high speed automated machinery (ex. continuous motion rotary, indexing motion rotary & inline machinery). Primary design areas include tooling mechanisms, rotary turret machine structure/sizing, cams, mechanical drives, drive sizing, parts orienting feeders, conveyor design & specification, equipment floor plan layout, guarding and pneumatics qualifications. Additionally, a good sense of the controls required for this equipment is required to be able to incorporate the proper sensors required for operation, though the actual logic needed to run the equipment is developed by others.
