Available opportunity: Paraprofessionals / Teacher Aides Location: Norwalk, CT Position details: Delta-T Group is seeking Education Professionals with one year or more background in the field. Associate's Degree or 60 college credits preferred. Job qualifications: Duties include working in a school as a one to one with a special education child or as a classroom para. Paraprofessional will assist with daily activities including keeping child on task, assisting with academics, providing direction and redirecting behaviors as appropriate. Needs of children can range from children with autism, mental health concerns, learning disabilities, behavioral concerns, academic concerns. Background working with special needs children needed. Background with ABA or DTI required for some positions. PMT required for some positions. Having all current credentials and certifications within the past year is a plus!
