Natural Resources Inspector - (Bedford, VA)

Applications are being accepted for the position of Natural Resources Inspector to work in the Natural Resources Division of the Department of Community Development located in the Bedford County Administration Building, 122 East Main Street, Bedford, Virginia. The applicant will perform intermediate technical work with the review of plans, inspection, and enforcement of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management practices to ensure compliance with legal standards and will do related work as required. Work will be performed under the supervision of the Natural Resources Engineer. The applicant will review erosion and sediment control and stormwater management plans; inspect pre- and post- land disturbing activities for code compliance; provide advice and details relating to erosion and sediment control; prepare and maintaining records and files.
