Volunteer Coordinator - (Anchorage, AK)

Volunteer Coordinator The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible to the Managing Director ? Operations for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling and evaluating volunteers. This position participates in identifying volunteer opportunities and matches qualified volunteers with those opportunities, and coordinates with other staff in facilitating volunteer participation. In coordination with the development office, this position administers a volunteer recognition program. The Volunteer Coordinator is a member of the Education and Personal Growth Team. Requirements: Bachelor?s degree required or equivalent background, good relational skills and an expertise to work with diverse populations; expertise to be flexible and collaborative as a team player and highly effective management expertise needed to utilize time effectively, prioritizing tasks for self and others. Salary: $40K. Benefits include a life insurance policy and medical and dental insurance.
