Instructional Video Editor / Producer Sunnyvale, CA. Primary Function of Position: The Instructional Video Editor/Producer is familiar with all aspects of video/film production. The role requires comfort in a corporate environment. The role also requires being detail-oriented as well as a strong problem solver, in and outside of the edit room. Working well with other and independently is important. The role requires keeping the project’s message clear, its aesthetics clean, meeting all deadlines and driving the project to completion no matter your level of involvement. Whether strictly as editor or as producer-editor, quality is paramount. The primary focus is training and not narrative, however, there are opportunities to cut footage in film style at times. The goal is always to convey details clearly. The Video Editor/Producer, will collaborate together with management, instructional video producer, 3D animators, instructional designers, subject matter experts and external vendors.
