The summer intern works with Newsy's social and engagement team on community management, social-video production, trending articles and social platforms. Key activities Pitch story ideas across formats and platforms Help engagement team with audience outreach efforts Create graphics and animations for social channels Education & Background/Certifications Junior standing in college Basic video-editing skills Knowledge of AP style Skills & Abilities A passion for news and a genuine desire to help journalism succeed Expertise to accept criticism and learn from it The drive to solve problems and no fear of asking questions Working atmosphere Travel rarely required Standard office environment Application deadline is Friday, March 3.
