The Data Specialist position is primarily responsible for designing, maintaining and analyzing data collected. Data can be collected from a variety of different sources, at different times, and for different reasons, but all must be built into digestible and usable userprofiles. Position assignments: Identifies and specifies usable info for collection. Assists in collection strategy within the mobile application software. Retro-fits historic and new data to build profiles. Works closely with Business stakeholders to understand and specify data collection needs for new initiatives Works closely with Product Management, and Development to implement itemized collection points Employs technical ability and skills to build tools and queries/reports Analyzes collected data in order to answer questions about user behavior Stays up-to-date with upcoming changes to current technologies and industry trends. Other duties as assigned.
