Position description POSITION PURPOSE Support the Sales Department by giving administrative support to the Sales Catering Department, greet and assist visitors, answer and distribute incoming communications to the Sales Catering Department. Expertise to multi task and use initiative are necessary skills required for this role. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS - Meet and greet all visitors in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner. - Maintain a positive working atmosphere and attitude. - Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence and reports, filing, and answering phones. Maintain and upkeep various filing systems, including vendor details where necessary. - Responsible for immediate acknowledgment of the visitor, identifying who the visitor wishes to see, and notifying that individual immediately. - Provide administrative support to Sales, Catering and Convention Services Managers. -Receive and distribute any and all potential sales opportunities.
