Specialty: Laboratory Medicine & Pathology Heal the Sick, Advance the Science, Share the Knowledge Responsibilities: The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a doctoral scientist (Ph.D.) to serve as co-director of the Neuroimmunology Laboratory. This highly specialized laboratory provides serological tests to aid in the diagnosis of autoimmune neurological diseases and cancer. The laboratory co-director will be responsible for providing technical oversight of the day-to-day- operations. Licensure or Certification: The perfect applicant will possess a PhD degree and ABCC board certification in clinical chemistry; prior background in the area of immunology; evidence of expertise to innovate and develop laboratory developed tests; demonstrated academic productivity in the field of laboratory medicine and immunology; and meet all the qualification qualifications for a Technical Supervisor according to the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act.
