Accounting Senior Specialist - Bloomfield, CT This is a contract role expected to last 5 mnths. Accounting Senior Specialist - Position duties: Coordinates Financial Examinations of various Cigna entities which are conducted by state Departments of Insurance. Acts as intermediary between matrix partners (e.g. accounting, claims, permium, compliance units, etc.) and the DOI examiners. Facilitates meetings with matrix partners to assist them in pulling together info in response to DOI requests. "Face to the auditor" role on behalf of the legal entity being examined. Tracks all requests, primarily in Ms excel, and motivates matrix partners to meet deadlines. Reviews all responses from matrix partners to ensure that they are appropriate, thorough, and consistent with other responses provided.
