Senior Unix Architect - (Green Bay, WI)

JOB OVERVIEW : Designs and delivers systems technology to solve business needs at an advanced level. Maintains effective internal control of Systems involving implementation, tuning, throughput, optimization, security, and integrity of environment. Adheres to all aspects of the ShopKo Info Services Development (SISDM) for projects and problem/change management. Mentors other team members. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Resolves Systems technology issues • Identifies root cause where appropriate and follows through to eliminate root cause or mitigate business impact. • Participates in an on call support rotation. Designs and delivers Systems technology • Develops diverse and complex project plans: outlines steps and time tables for projects, resource planning, and standard operating procedures. • Completes project status reports on time. • Provides task level detail for project plans. • Installs, configures, validates, tests and implements systems technology.
