Planner I/II 116-236 The City of Overland Park has a Planner I/II position available in the Planning & Development Services Department, depending upon the combination of min qualifications and level of background. Responsibilities: Assists and/or coordinates with the Comprehensive Plan review, updates the plan as necessary and produces the Annual Development Report. Compiles data related to land use, population, housing and development for use in updating long range planning documents. Assists with Neighborhood Planning efforts. Assists and/or coordinates with distribution of population and housing census data. Assists with population forecasting and scenario planning reports. Organizes and presents available data for use by general public and other City departments. Serves as Planner of the Day on a rotating basis. Responds to Zoning and Development inquiries from staff and the general public. Participates on the Plan Review committee.
