Designs custom weighing / package handling machinery per customer and material requirements using developed sub-systems, industry standardcomponents, and when required, components of original design; including systems for hazardous and hygienic (FDA) environments. Participates in new product development as required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *Specification, design, development, testing, and documentation of package inspection systems. *Application and modification of company's product lines to meet customer's requirements. *Preparation of work package for manufacturing release according to company's internal standards. *Preparation of safety related documentation. *Preparation of documentation for technical writers when required. *Providing mechanical engineering consultation and support to personnel in product work
