Maintenance - Mechanical/Electrical Job - (Dothan, AL)

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor types of industrial equipment for a poultry processing plant. This position performs preventative and predictive maintenance using blueprints and diagrams to verify that all equipment is operating within required specifications and tolerances. May perform periodic testing and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs. This is an individual contributor role. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, performs predictive and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery. Repairs equipment from blueprint and schematic drawings ensuring equipment is performing safely to required specifications. Identifies root cause of basic mechanical issues and performs repairs by welding, fabricating parts, basic pipefitting or replacing defective component; notifies appropriate personnel if further attention is required.
