Receiving Inspector - (Austin, TX)

Randstad has a Temp to Hire opportunity for a Receiving Inspector with a leading Electronics company in the North Austin area. This is a first shift position 7am-3:30pm, pay level is $13-16.50. Performs visual, mechanical and electrical inspection on parts, electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies from vendors, and customers for compliance with applicable drawing and quality standards and specifications. Work from Receiving packaging documentation and various internal documents to verify that the receipt of incoming material is compliant with specifications - Expertise to work overtime when needed - Follow and maintain accurate process documentation and recommend improvements based on pertinent data - Expertise to lead and mentor others in complex inspection tasks - Utilize optical and measurement equipment to determine the acceptability of components subassemblies,etc. - Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company
